Hey yall!

 

My name is Julia Riddle and I'm from South Carolina. I currently am a freshman Clover High School and Im 15 years old. I turn 16 in September. I have a sister named Erin who is 12 years old as well as my parents, who are tough to get along with sometimes but we love each other. :) This is actually my first mission trip, however I really hope it isn't the last. The way I heard about AIM was through my old youth leader who went on the World Race and she reccomended it and I decided to check it out. 

 

I live in a very small town with not much to do other than go to football games on Friday nights and hangout with friends when you aren't doing that. Anything exciting is atleast an hour away. However one thing I enjoy is that I live on the lake which is alot of fun. I love driving the jet skiing and boating, also skiing. (I'm hoping to learn how to wakeboard this summer.) Some of my favorites are: hanging out with friends, watching movies, eating, cooooking, singing, im staring to like reading some, dancing, listening to music, taking photography, my camera!, babysitting, going to youth group, meeting new people,  campfires :), making memories, and most of all living my life so that I enjoy it and make the most of it.

 

Right now my major in school is Culinary Arts and I hope to go to a culinary college later on and maybe start my own resturaunt, bakery, or even travel the world and learn the foods of other countries and make international resturaunts.

 

As far as sports, I wish I could do something like football...but id probably be killed. I did it when I was little for a few months at an afterschool camp I went to...we even won the "superbowl" haha. Ive done gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, and then gymnastics again. Dancing was one of the things that I enjoyed the most just because of the heart you can put into it. I'm not sure how to classify myself other than just me. I'm a pretty cool person, also adventurous, crazy at times, outgoing, also quiet at times. I hope to meet alot of new friends while on the trip as well as grow my relationship with God and to help and positively impact all the lives that we touch. I'm reallyyyy excited for this trip. :)
