How I was called to the Mission Field/ Emily H.

I first became involved in missions when I was in the sixth grade. I have been on mission trips within the United States with World Changers each summer ever since then.  The week of World Changers was always my favorite part of each summer break.  After finishing my sophomore year in high school, I really felt God telling me that the usual week out of every summer wasn’t all that He wanted me to do.  I began praying about other options for me and various things I could be involved in.  God began to show me that He wanted me to travel internationally to serve Him and go outside of my comfort zone.  The next summer, I joined a group with International World Changers and traveled to Uruguay.  Serving God in another culture setting was an unforgettable experience for me.  I don’t know exactly what God has planned for me in the future, but I’m sure missions work will play a part.  I can’t wait to be in Costa Rica this summer to share God with the people there!
